Discovery
Understanding the source environment is very important when planning for a Domain Migration. Not knowing the location of the source Directory objects along with their dependencies, introduces a large amount of risk to your project. Each NOS Directory and Messaging environment has specific items that need to be collected. By knowing what these are, tremendously reduces the discovery time, as well reduces the migration risk. Our skilled migration consultants will conduct a Discovery of the source environment and summarize the collected data needed to make the right decisions on the best way to design and architect the migration plan.
Migration Architecture Planning Workshop
By understanding the project drivers, project goals along with the business and technical requirements, AdecoTech is able to gather the necessary information needed to plan and architect the best migration plan. AdecoTech conducts the Workshop by drawing from the collected Discovery data, the migration requirements and identifying the migration risks. Then based on the migration skill and experiences of our consultants, this allows AdecoTech to recommend the best NOS Directory and Messaging migration plan.
Automate Manual Activities using Scripts
AdecoTech has the ability to automate the manual migration activities that are identified during the Migration Architecture Planning Workshop to help eliminate the human error involved when executing the migration activities manually. In automating manual activities, it also speeds up the task tremendously which results in saving time throughout the execution of the project. Our approach is to gather the scripting requirements and then develop the script(s) off-site for the purpose of testing the script(s) thoroughly prior to delivering the scripts on-site. AdecoTech recommends integrating the script(s) within the migration process to ensure the input parameters operate as expected as well the output result meets the requirements. AdecoTech will document the script’s workflow including screen captures to help explain the usage of the script(s).
Production Migration Support (On-site and Remote)
AdecoTech will remain engaged on your project as the Migration
Subject Matter Expert as a member of your migration team to actually
conduct the migration. AdecoTech can be remained engaged at
different avenues on the project to mitigate the project risk which
will greater increase the migration projects success. The value
offers a “Safety Net” or insurance policy for those customers and
partners when troubles arise. Our Consultants can be engaged full
time as the Migration Subject Matter Expert on the migration Team,
engaged only at key migration milestones or engaged on a part time
basis.
With the use of remote control software like Webex, AdecoTech is
able connect and see the issues first hand to allow us to better
support you and results in speeding up the resolution time in half.
AdecoTech offers different remote support models for weekday,
weekend and holiday day support.
